Our Approach
What is ABA?
Advanced Behavior Analysis (ABA) is an evidence-founded concept to transform socially essential behavior. It is supported by more than seventy years of research with seminal research by BF Skinner to its contemporary researchers, including Todd Wolf and Donald Baer.

Five steps we take in ABA, we ensure to run a comprehensive analysis before offering our clients our services to avoid ending up with the wrong assessment.
Therefore we follow the following five steps:
Step 1: Defining and Prioritizing Behavior
For us to analyze the behaviors, it is vital to know what behaviors we are attempting to change. Most of the time, when handling complex behaviors, chances are, there are numerous others. Once we have determined the behavior and its attributes, we then figure out which carries more weight. Prioritizing helps us understand what challenge requires our immediate attention and which ones can wait for some time.
Step 2: Gather Information
This is a vital step in the process; the accuracy of the information gathered determines whether our behavior support plan can be efficient. There are various methods to collect data from indirect analysis such as checklists or interviews; data collection is the natural setting and manipulating the environment to trigger and observe the impacts. Besides, we can gather background information via recorded interviews.
Step 3: Develop Hypotheses

This is the perfect time to begin developing ideas regarding the impacts of challenging behavior. Technically, we are unsure of our guesses regarding the function until we put the intervention in practice and observe how they work. Besides, developing hypotheses is frequently one of the most significant steps in the process because we need to figure out how to take all the data gathered in step two and incorporate it into understanding the challenging behavior grounded on who the individual is.
Step 4: Develop a Behavioral Support Plan
Functional analysis is meaningful to us; it directs us to create a behavioral support plan that transforms the behavior. For this step to be effective, it needs to be passed through the hypotheses functions of the behavior. Behavior support plans are not just plans that highlight what needs to be done when the behavior occurs; they should also highlight how we can adjust the environment to prevent the occurrence of the challenging behavior.
Step 5: Implementation and Monitoring
This is the final step of the assessment; this is when we confirm the accuracy of our analysis. We need to ensure that execution is done with integrity and then monitor the behavior to see if it changes or not; if it does not, then clearly we have a problem to solve.
